UPR-info.org is the first website entirely dedicated to the Universal Periodic Review.
The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) is a new mechanism of the United Nations which consists of the review of the human rights practices all States in the world, once every four years.

You will find on this website: States, NGOs and OHCHR reports; summaries of every country’s review; reports of the Working Group; webcasts of the UPR sessions and analyses.

We are also working with NGOs to facilitate their participation in the process. If you wish to know more, see here.

 Deadline for Session 4 from 2 to 13 February 2009:
. 1 September 2008 for submissions on Cameroon, Djibouti, Mauritius, Nigeria, Senegal, Bangladesh, China and Jordan; and
. 8 September 2008 for submissions on Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Russian Federation and Azerbaijan.
