Timetable now available for the next round of UPR Info Pre-sessions

UPR Info is organising its thirteenth round of Pre-sessions to discuss the human rights situation of the States to be reviewed at the 25th UPR Working Group session (30 March - 1 April 2016): Antigua and Barbuda, Greece,  Hungary, Ireland, Papua New Guinea, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, and Trinidad and Tobago

The UPR Pre-sessions bring together Permanent Missions, National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to discuss the human rights situation of States one month prior to their review at the UPR Working Group. The Pre-sessions offer Permanent delegations the opportunity to be informed on the status of implementation of recommendations made during the previous review, while providing space for civil society to influence the process by lobbying several delegations at once.

The pre-session will take place from 30 March to 1 April in Geneva, Switzerland, at the Centre International de Conférences Genève, 17 rue de Varembé, Room 5. Full timetable can be downloaded.
