Pre-sessions of 31st UPR
UPR Info is organising the next round of UPR Info’s Pre-sessions between civil society organisations (CSOs), national human rights institutions (NHRIs) and Permanent Missions will take place on 9-12 October 2018 at the Palais des Nations, Geneva. The Pre-sessions are organised ahead of the 31st UPR Working Group session (November 2018), and will discuss the human rights situation of the States to be reviewed: Belize; Central African Republic; Chad; China; Congo (Republic of) ; Jordan; Malaysia; Malta; Mauritius; Mexico; Monaco; Nigeria; Saudi Arabia; and Senegal.

UPR Info has limited funds to support civil society's participation in the Pre-sessions. For Pre-session 31, UPR Info is able to support speakers from the following countries:

If you already applied for one of these four countries with our regular application form, you do not need to fill a new grantee form, as we will consider all applications for these four countries eligible for the grant.
UPR Info has limited funds to support national CSOs to travel to Geneva to speak at the Pre-session. The grant covers a five-day trip to Geneva and includes a training on the UPR and Pre-session participation. Kindly note that as our financial resources are limited, not all applicants from these four countries can be awarded the grant (it is limited to 3 speakers per country).
