    Internships at UPR Info

    Internships are vital to UPR Info and we strive to provide a unique learning experience that fully engages interns in meaningful work. Reporting to the Programme Manager, interns at UPR Info are given significant responsibilities, including tasks to perform both independently and in cooperation with other team members.

  • UPR Info active on Instagram, handle @UPR_Info

Come on over and follow us to learn about the different work of our team members, for deeper insight on our in-country work, and for updates on our other programmes! We look forward to interacting with you and sharing what we do through our expanded social media presence. 

  • Kyrgyz CSOs kickstart the drafting of their UPR report

    On 10-11 April 2019, 67 participants joined the UPR submission workshop, co-organised by Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights’ (OHCHR) Regional Office for Central Asia (ROCA), the National Center against Torture (NPM), the Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic and UPR Info in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The event brought together urban and rural human rights defenders from the seven regions of the country working on a broad scope of human rights issues. 

  • Jordan 3rd Review: The Way Forward

    On Tuesday, 10 April the Prime Minister of Jordan, Omar Razzaz, issued a memo to all ministries and governmental associations to implement the recommendations of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of human rights endorsed by the Jordanian government. Jordan was reviewed in the third cycle of the UPR on November 8th, 2018 and the government committed to implement 149 recommendations out of 226.
