UPR Info launches a new video on the role of States under review!

UPR Info videos EN

States are the main actors of each Universal Periodic Review (UPR). As a peer-review process, States can interact either as Recommending State or as a State under Review (SuR). The UPR is designed to prompt, support, and expand the promotion and protection of human rights on the ground by States. Thus, the success of the UPR depends on the sustained engagement of each State under review at every stage of the process.

UPR Info has been developing audiovisual materials to make the UPR more accessible to different stakeholders, and this video focuses on the role of the State under review and different ways to do advocacy activities, at each stage of the UPR.
