NGOs not given the floor during adoptions due to time constraints

Some civil society organisations were not able to speak on two adoptions of Working Group reports due to time constraints. At the adoption of the reports of Canada and Saudi Arabia, the Human Rights Council was so much behind schedule that NGOs started their statements at 6 pm. The President of the HRC had to deny three NGOs on each adoption from taking the floor because no interpretation was available anymore.

However, those statements would still be included in the report of the 11th session of the HRC.
