UPR session 16 to be held from 22 April to 3 May 2013

The Office of the High Commissioner recently published the dates of the 16th session of the Universal Periodic Review Working Group. The session will be held form 22nd of April to 3rd of May 2013.

The countries to be reviewed are, in this order: Turkmenistan, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Colombia, Uzbekistan, Tuvalu, Germany, Djibouti, Canada, Bangladesh, Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, and Cuba.

The deadlines for the submissions of stakeholders’ information are:

 2 October 2012: Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Colombia, Germany, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, and Uzbekistan.

 9 October 2012: Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Canada, Cuba, Djibouti, and Russian Federation.
