The NGO Group for the CRC and UPR Info publish joint fact sheets on the UPR

The NGO Group for the CRC and UPR Info have joined forces to develop fact sheets on the UPR process. Practical and action-oriented, those fact sheets aim at providing general information as well as technical details about the mechanism in order to help civil society better understand its modalities and how they can engage. Each fact sheet has two versions: one with specific references to the rights of the child and targeted at non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working on this issue and one with broader content aimed at all NGOs.

A total of four fact sheets will be developed. The two first ones are already available:

 UPR mechanism - E, F, S
 NGO submission to the UPR - E, F, S

The two last will address the following issues:

 Advocacy opportunities for NGOs around the UPR
 NGO participation at the Human Rights Council plenary sessions
