NEW: dates for Session 4 held in February 2009

The Session 4 of the Universal Periodic Review will be held from 2 to 13 February 2009.

The following States will be reviewed:

Cameroon, Djibouti, Mauritius, Nigeria, Senegal, Bangladesh, China, Jordan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Russian Federation and Azerbaijan.

• 10 November – Responses to recommendations: some States fail to take clear position

• 23 October – UPR Info new analyses: tables showing which issue is raised by which State during which review

• 13 October – New analyses of each State’s position at UPR Working Groups

• 1 October – Timetable for session 4 and 5

• 26 September – Dealines for submission of information by stakeholders for session 5 and 6
